With the help of the Holy Spirit, and our dependence upon Him, we can walk through any situation as we reaching out to the lost. Our complete surrender of our life for the purpose of the Kingdom is what is necessary if we are to do the work of the King. We continued to look at our simple diagram of reaching out to the lost children of God. We took a closer look at the role of the Holy Spirit in this process.

Graduation Celebration

On June 13th, we will be celebrating with our high school and college graduates during both services. We will be having a special reception at directing following the second service, where you will have a chance to congratulate our graduates. Refreshments will be served!

Things to do:
Complete the online questionnaire (at the bottom of this page)
Turn in your senior picture or other recent photo (or email it)
Get these things completed by May 30th.
On the day of the celebration:
We will be having the celebration in each service, you need to be at both
You need to be in the Gym with your cap and gown by 9:45am, and be ready for the second service by 10:45am
There will be a reception after the second service at 12:00pm
If you are going to be setting up a graduate display, please do that before 9:00am (there’s a class that meets in there)

Campus Projects Progress

The Elders invite all comments concerning the improvement projects lined out on this page. Phase 1 involves adding 57 parking spaces and upgrading the playground area. The approximate funds needed are $100,000. Faithful prayer and giving hearts will make this a reality and it is only the beginning of a wonderful and effective tool for Christ.

Out of Darkness

A time of sorrow turns to a time of hope and encouragement. The Out of Darkness Community Walk event held this past Sunday was a wonderful time for all the participants. People who have lost loved ones to suicide and people who have counseled and comforted them. This event not only exceeded the monetary amount hoped for but it brought many people together in a way that will impact lives forever. The overwhelming call for awareness and education regarding hurting people suffering with thoughts of suicide. Moving forward, always remembering, forever motivated to love and care for each other.

The Quest For Authentic Manhood began on September 1st. If you didn’t have an opportunity to join the series this year we will offer it again next September. Take some time and check in with Jim Snider or Kevin Chappell and ask them about their time in this series this year but be prepared to have a meaningful and encouraging conversation because the men this year are growing stronger every day.
