Obedience is the concrete living in and then living out the word of God. This is a call for all Christians to be real in our resolve to be Christian in every area of our lives and to be the church God has called us to be. See Ephesians 4:12-16.

I make no claims about the quality of this message, but when I get to the end of it you will know what it is about.
You will know what the purpose of this church is. You will know the main thing. You will know why we are here.
You will know that there is one task to which we have been assigned. You will know we are moving toward the right, and that if we don’t, no matter what else we do, no matter what else we accomplish, no matter how good the program, we will have failed.
And that’s not just true of this church; this is true of your life as well. You will know your main thing. You will know that there is one task to which you have been assigned. You will know why you are here. You will know that no matter what else you do, no matter what else you accomplish in your life, however successful, wealthy, however high you might climb, failing this, you will have missed the point of your life, the very reason you are on this planet.

God has different priorities than we do. Our usual priority is to get through the next major problem or obstacle successfully. God’s priority is to cause us to come to and grow in our faith in Him. Everything else is incidental to that goal. An event in life that may seem designed to destroy us (like rattlesnake bites) is in fact designed to strengthen and mature us.

Real answers come from the real life struggles of faith. As your faith grows it will inevitably be challenged by circumstances, crises, and ultimately by God who is seeking to make your faith real and strong and deep. The challenge is to see through the crisis to the end result, a strong faith.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, and our dependence upon Him, we can walk through any situation as we reaching out to the lost.  Our complete surrender of our life for the purpose of the Kingdom is what is necessary if we are to do the work of the King.  We continued to look at our simple diagram of reaching out to the lost children of God.  We took a closer look at the role of the Holy Spirit in this process.
