After a process that included receipt of proposals from four contractors and a review from the parking lot capital project committee, negotiations were opened with 2G Construction. Their proposal was the most complete and representative of project as we envision it. Approximate total cost will be in the $250,000 range. To date $160,000 is in hand and a fund raiser is in place to raise the rest of the necessary capital project money.
The design contract has been drafted and should be signed by the first of March 2010. It is anticipated that all design work will be complete and permits obtained for a start construction date of May 1st, 2010 and a completion date by the end of August.
Engineering consultant is Branch Engineering, Landscape Architect is Daugherty Landscape Architects.
