Micah 6:8; “He has shown you,
O man, what is good.  What does the Lord require of you?  To act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

I was approached by the elders at Santa Clara and asked to consider serving as an elder.  After much prayer and counsel, I felt God had called me to serve in that way through the men who had asked me. 

I believe it is an elder’s responsibililty to protect the church, both spiritually and physically, and to provide leadership that will cause the body to mature and prosper in service to God. 

I believe we do this by nurturing the individual members which, in turn, strengthens our families and, as a result, equips the church to reach out to the unsaved.
