Real answers come from the real life struggles of faith. As your faith grows it will inevitably be challenged by circumstances, crises, and ultimately by God who is seeking to make your faith real and strong and deep. The challenge is to see through the crisis to the end result, a strong faith.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, and our dependence upon Him, we can walk through any situation as we reaching out to the lost.  Our complete surrender of our life for the purpose of the Kingdom is what is necessary if we are to do the work of the King.  We continued to look at our simple diagram of reaching out to the lost children of God.  We took a closer look at the role of the Holy Spirit in this process.

We are in anticipation of completion of this correction work and the ability to re-submit by July 16th if all goes well.

Our permit for our entrance sign has been approved and is ready to pick up at the City.

You will notice that our west property line just off of Santa Clara Ave.  has been marked out in white paint. We will be installing a six foot tall wood fence on our side of the property line. Next to the fence we will have a seven foot landscape bed, a  five foot sidewalk and then our new driveway. This should give you a good visual picture of the location of our newly constructed entrance. “He Can Reach Through Anything”

Have you ever noticed that there are times in our lives when God directs us into situations that are unfamiliar, stress-filled, and sometimes difficult circumstances? . . . And then, He requires that we deal with these difficulties, situations, or circumstances that seem to not only be out of our control, but also beyond our abilities! . . . They jar us out of our comfortable ruts and put us on a bumpy, rough road. We feel unprepared, inadequate, overwhelmed, outnumbered, and frightened.
What we don’t know is that God has been preparing us all our lives for these very moments. We are better prepared, better equipped, than we had imagined. Every moment of our walk with God in the past has been in preparation of this day, this hour, this very moment. And, if it’s any comfort, we are not the first to face those overwhelming circumstances. Esther before us was put into such a situation, and she had no more from God than we do. And yet, in spite of God’s “silence,” Esther found that she was prepared.

“The Moments He Has Made You For”

EWEB has removed the fire hydrant as the City fire department declared it redundant. It cost us $2,000 to have that work done. EWEB has a design ready for the relocation of the power pole and as soon as we know that the new location is approved by the City of Eugene we will pay $2,923 to have that work done. With these two facilities moved the utility work will be complete and our of our construction zone.

Fund raising has slowed down significantly. Within the next two weeks we should have the construction bid prices available and be able to see just how much we need to complete our project. The parking lot design committee has planned the project with several options for incremental build so that we in theory could get started on the construction while fund raising continues for necessary elements of the project. (i.e.) We can hold up the purchase of the lighting equipment but still get the underground conduit and foundation work done. We can hold up the commitment for purchase of the planting materials until more funding is in hand. Etc. Each of these decisions have consequences attached but would allow us to move forward shortly after our permit is purchased.

While God is sovereign, He has also given us the responsibility of our choices. We freely choose to live by God’s principles or not, and the results are as certain as the law of gravity. Knowing the course of your life is set by your choices, choose wisely.
