To learn more about Central India Christian Mission, visit their website.
In ways big and small, CICM is changing the lives of thousands of people and introducing the Gospel which can change all India. Ajai and Indu Lall started CICM in December 1982 with a dream to obey Jesus’ Great Commission by establishing a mission center in their homeland. From the very beginning they focused on evangelism, church planting and leadership training. What started with these two faithful servants has grown into a multifaceted mission helping thousands of people each year through evangelistic and benevolent ministries.
A Great Need
India is the second largest country in the world in terms of population with 1.2 billion people. Economic progress is coming to parts of India, but much of the country still suffers extreme poverty, malnutrition, disease and illiteracy. ”Religion” has a great hold on most of India’s population; over 80% are Hindus and about 12% are Muslim. Other religions practiced in India include Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism. Less than three percent of the population is Christian! CICM is committed to sharing the news of Jesus Christ with the millions of unreached people.
